Writing Activity Unit 8 - Corrections

Here are the correction for the writing about animals.  There are 3 without a name. Let me know who wrote them. In total there are only 23 comments which means that about 20 of you did not do the work. If you were not able to do it in the blog you are required to do it in your practice book.I will check it when you come back from the shelter.

1. The panda is an animal that belongs to the order of carnivores.The panda looks like a bear. It lives in the central western and south western of China. It eats a lot of bamboo and occasionally eats other animals. It is easily found because  it has black patches around the eyes, over the ears, and across its round body. I like this animal very much and when I have time I will go to  Madrid's Zoo where I can see it.

2. THE CHEETAH:
The cheetah in the fastest animal in the world.
The cheetah belongs to the group of the mammals.
The cheetah looks like a cat.
The cheetah lives in the forest.
The cheetah eats other animals .
The cheetah has a lean body,longer legs,and has been referred to as the greyhound of the cats. They have small theeth and with its weak jaws..............  It
is not an agressive animal,using flight versus fight.

3. DOLPHINS:dolphins are mammal animals and live in the water.For me they are very beautiful and they can swim

4. KANGAROOS
-The kangaroos are mammals and marsupials(a group of animals that includes koalas)
-The kangaroos live in Australia.
-Kangaroos have a deep pouch on their front and have  large,flat feet.
-The kangaroos eat plants,nuts,berries and insects.
-The kangaroos live 4-10 years.
-The kangaroos are well  known because they jump very well.

I want to put information about the giraffe.

They are mammals and viviparous.
They are yellow with brown spots.
They live in African grasslands and can live for a long time without water.
They eat leaves.
They have long legs and a very long neck.It is 3 meters from the shoulder to the ground.Its neck is 2.5 meters long.
It has got small horns on its head.
They usually sleep standing up.
Giraffes live in smallgroups with a male giraffes as their leader.They are very beautiful.

Claudia I did not asked you to copy information about the giraffe from the book. You were supposed to write about an animal not in the book

6. The bobcats are mamals.They are white have  black spots.
They live in North America.
They eat meat.

1. The tiger is vertebrate and a  mammal.
It lives in the jungle.It's a carnivore because it eats other animals.It has stripes on its body.Tigers live for 10-15 years in the wild but they can live longer than 20 years in captivity.

They are reptiles and oviparous animals. We can find them in Africa, Asia, America and Australia. They live in rivers and they are excellent swimmers. They are carnivore animals because they eat other animals like fish. Their colour is green and their skin is dry and hard. They have a large tail and sharp teeth. They are very strong and dangerous animals. They can live between one hundred and one hundred fifty years.
